Newest Spinal Column Showcases The Power of Working Together
From care teams to sports teams, Shepherd Center harnesses the power of working together toward a common goal. The fall issue of Spinal Column magazine celebrates teamwork in all its forms, and it is now available for download here. Subscribers to the print version will receive copies via postal mail in the coming days.
The magazine highlights the care team that supported hockey player Jackson Drum throughout his inpatient spinal cord injury (SCI) rehabilitation at Shepherd Center. Jackson, who is originally from Minnesota, sustained an SCI in a hockey game early this year.
The magazine also features stories about William Davidson, Shepherd’s director of engineering, Jonathan Horna, a Shepherd Smash wheelchair rugby athlete, recaps of the Atlanta-Journal Constitution Peachtree Road Race and Project Rollway, and an explainer on Shepherd Center’s spooky season traditions, just in time for Halloween.
