The Wizard of Oz Characters Visit Shepherd Center to Highlight Upcoming Hospital Fundraiser

Every year, the Shepherd Center Foundation and its many donors and volunteers host The Legendary Party to raise funds to benefit Shepherd Center patients. This year's theme is "The Wizard of Oz," so Party Chair Cecilia Wright conceived the idea for a Wizard character-themed video featuring donors, volunteers, patients and families.

The video (available above and at http://vimeo.com/108787754) serves as a "thank you" to the generous Sponsors and Patrons of Shepherd Center's 26th annual The Legendary Party set for Nov. 1 at the Ritz-Carlton, Buckhead. The character of Dorothy represents a patient getting ready to go home because "there's no place like home."

The Legendary Party Sponsorships and Patron packages are still available beginning at $1,500 and up. No individual tickets are available. For more information, visit www.TheLegendaryParty.com or call Cara Roxland at 404-350-7778 or email cara_roxland@shepherd.org.
