In New Issue of Spinal Column, Patients Share Why They Traveled to Shepherd Center for Care

The new issue of Shepherd Center's quarterly magazine is now available for download as a PDF file here. Subscribers to the print version will receive copies via postal mail in the coming days.

In this issue of Spinal Column, we celebrate the universal language of hope that exists at Shepherd Center. We hear from patients from across the country and around the globe about why they chose Shepherd Center for rehabilitation. Sachin Chamaria traveled to Shepherd from New Delhi, India, and recaptured his love of sports during rehabilitation. Daniel Hund found that the progress he made at Shepherd Center and the sincere staff investment in his well-being helped him focus on new possibilities in his life. Finally, after sustaining a traumatic brain injury, Rachel Foster of Oklahoma was determined to return to running. She started with daily laps around Shepherd Center’s track and went on to complete the Boston Marathon.

The magazine also features these stories, among other patient profiles, staff highlights, honorariums, and memorials:
